Parkville Area Crime: Burglar Pries Three Doors, Steals $10

The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

Glen Arm Glen Arm Road, 11900 block. Between 9 and 10 a.m. May 21. A change purse, $10 cash, and bank cards were stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by prying open a sliding door. Once inside the home, glass panels were moved to allow access to a door handle that opened a family room. The burglar then had to pry open a door leading into the kitchen, where the above listed items were stolen. Cub Hill Cub Hill Road, 2800 block. At 11:22 a.m. May 23. Burglars entered a home through an unlocked door and broke out a window. Parkville Park Drive, 7400 block. At 12:45 p.m. May 23. Parkville Crime: Attempted Robbery Of High School Students

The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

Parkville Harford Road at Putty Hill Avenue. At 2:35 p.m. April 25. Two high school students were robbed as they walked home from school. Two men approached the students and demanded their cell phones; one of the victims told the robbers they didn't have cell phones, and the robbers then demanded their backpacks. When the victims refused, the robbers knocked one of the victims to the ground. The victims then stood and ran to a nearby relative's home. Highpoint Road, 7900 block. Between 8 p.m. April 21 and 8 a.m. April 23. A rear window of a home was broken in an attempt to get inside the house, but no one was able to get inside and nothing was stolen. Parkville/Carney Crime: Men Robbed At Gunpoint On Satyr Hill

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

Parkville Wycliffe Road, 2500 block. At 3:06 p.m. April 18. A neighbor saw three men on the porch of a vacant home. The men damaged a chain lock on a storm door and a deadbolt on the front door but were unable to get inside. Satyr Hill Road, 8700 block. At 10:12 p.m. April 15. Two men were robbed of cash and cigarettes at gunpoint while walking by a group of men in a four-door vehicle. The vehicle approached the victims, a man displayed a handgun and demanded that they empty their pockets. The victims complied and the vehicle drove off, northbound on Waltham Woods Road. Maintenance Man Arrested, Allegedly Stole Personal Photos

A maintenance man at Cub Hill Apartments allegedly downloaded personal photos from residents laptops and shared them with co-workers.

A Nottingham man has been arrested and charged after police say he used his position as a maintenance worker at an area apartment complex to download personal photographs from residents computers. John David Wittman, 54, of the unit block of Chapeltowne Circle, was arrested and faces two counts of third-degree burglary, illegally accessing a computer, copying or possessing a database without permission, posession of obscene materials with the intent to distribute, and publishing or distributing obscene materials, according to a search of online court records. Wittman was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on Mar. 28 on $100,000 bond, a search of court records shows. Police say that around 1 p.m. Mar. 26 Wittman, who works …

Parkville/Carney Crime: Ray Lewis Autographed Helmet Stolen

Carney Richmond Avenue, 8600 block. Between 10:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 19. A cell phone, television, laptop, keys, pills, and a jewelry box contianing two necklaces, a gold ring and a gold braclet were stolen from a home. Burglars got inside through an unlocked back door. Cub Hill Nearbook Lane, 9900 block. Between 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. Jan. 22. Cash and a watch were stolen from a safe inside a home. Cub Hill Cub Hill Road, 2400 block. Between 2 p.m. Dec. 22 and 10:02 a.m. Dec. 23. Jewelry, valued at a total of over $51,000, was stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by entering through the front door without using physical force. Parkville Canterbury Road, 2500 block. Between 9:30 a.m. Dec. 21 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 22. Alleged Seven Courts Burglars Charged In Two Additional Burglaries

Kendra Mellerson and Aaron Robinson, arrested in connection with a Dec. 5 burglary in Seven Courts, have been charged with burglaries in Carney and Towson.

After being arrested in connection with a break-in in the Seven Courts area, a pair of alleged burglars have been charged with additional break-ins in Towson and Carney. Kendra Cierra Mellerson, 23, of the 5800 block of Cedonia Avenue, and Aaron Duane Robinson Jr, 26, of the 4100 block of Glenmore Avenue were arrested and charged in connection with a burglary in the 300 block of North Trail Way on Dec. 5. Now the pair face charges connected to burglaries that took place on Nov. 30 and Dec. 4 in the unit block of Britmore Court in Carney and the 900 block of Breezewick Circle in Towson, according to police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton. Batton said that detectives are investigating the pair in other burglaries, but that no other charges …

Two Arrested After Burglary In Seven Courts Area

Kendra Cierra Mellerson and Aaron Duane Robinson Jr. were arrested and charged in connection with a burglary in the Seven Courts area.

Two people have been arrested after police say they broke into a home in the Seven Courts area, fled and blew a tire. Kendra Cierra Mellerson, 23, of the 5800 block of Cedonia Avenue, and Aaron Duane Robinson Jr, 26, of the 4100 block of Glenmore Avenue, were arrested and charged with first- and fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property. Parkville/Carney Crime: Equipment Stolen From Construction Site

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Cub Hill Road, 2700 block. Between 7:30 p.m. July 30 and 10 a.m. July 31. About 25 feet of electrical wire, valued at $50, were stolen from a home under construction. I-695 between exits 30 and 31, Outer Loop. Between July 27 and July 30. A generator and three buckets for John Deere construction equipment were stolen from a construction site in the woods off the beltway. A burglar used a forklift on the construction site to damage two trailers at the location, then stole a generator from inside one of them. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $3,400. Crime: Attempted Carjacking in Cub Hill

Police say the 21-year-old victim told them two men tried to steal his car Tuesday.

A young man told Baltimore County police that he was nearly carjacked as he tried to determine what was wrong with his overheating car in the Cub Hill neighborhood. Police said that the 21-year-old victim, was driving along Cub Hill Road when he was forced to pull over because his vehicle began to overheat. He stopped in the 9500 block of Old Harford Road, near the Hickey School, and began work on his vehicle when a man approached and asked him what was the matter with his vehicle. According to police reports, the victim replied that he thought the car was overheating and continued to examine his car; a short time later he heard his car door close and saw the man sitting inside the car trying to start it, police said. you can carry pepper spray in the event they break a window while you are in the car. Also hit your car's emergency horn or sound your car's horn and flash lights. I'd much prefer a gun to blast them! Save us having to pay for 10-20 years of incarceraton!   more ›
