David Grayson French Jr. has been arrested and charged with striking and killing a woman with his vehicle along Seven Courts Drive on Jan. 22.
Nearly 12 weeks after Beverly Moore was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Seven Courts Drive, police have announced charges against a Perry Hall man. David Grayson French Jr., 25, of the unit block of Sandstone Court, was indicted by a grand jury and charged as the person responsible for Moore's death, according to a Baltimore County Police Department news release. French turned himself in to the Towson police precinct on April 10 and is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $500,000 bail, the release stated. Services for 68-year-old Beverly Moore, who was killed while crossing Seven Courts Drive, will be held Thursday evening and Friday morning in Parkville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening and Friday morning for the victim of a hit-and-run incident in Perry Hall on Jan. 22. Shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday, Beverly Moore was struck and killed by a vehicle while attempting to cross Seven Courts Drive, between Lincolnshire Court and Neves Court, police said. The driver fled the scene. Moore, 68, was a resident of Bourbon Court, less than a quarter of a mile from the incident. Funeral services will be held in her honor at Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services at 8800 Harford Rd. in Parkville, 6-9 p.m. on Thursday and at 11 a.m. on Friday. Beverly Moore, a 68-year-old woman, was struck by a vehicle near her Perry Hall home Sunday night.
UPDATE (Jan. 23, 4:42 p.m.)—A 68-year-old woman, who was struck and killed by a vehicle along Seven Courts Drive, between Lincolnshire Court and Neves Court, Sunday night in Perry Hall has been identified, police said. Police identified the hit-and-run victim late Monday afternoon as Beverly Moore of the unit block of nearby Bourbon Court, according to county police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher. Police also requested the public's help in identifying possible suspects. A vehicle traveling southbound on Seven Courts Drive stopped to allow the woman to cross the street shortly after 7 p.m. Another vehicle then drove around the stopped vehicle, struck Moore and fled the scene, according to Baltimore County police spokeswoman Elise Armacost…
