The restaurant, in the 800 block of Taylor Avenue, was robbed of $300.
A man robbed a Subway restaurant of $300 after he implied he had a weapon. Between 10:35 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday, the man entered the location in the 800 block of Taylor Avenue in Loch Raven and asked an employee for a drink, according to a Baltimore County police report. The man handed over money, then, when the register was open, he put his hand in his coat to imply a weapon and said "give me the money." Police said the man left the store and ran toward Loch Raven Boulevard. The robber is descibed as six feet tall with a skinny build, and is approximately 30 years old. He was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, green puffy coat and blue jeans.

Di Zhang, owner of an erotic massage parlor in the Loch Raven area, was charged on March 8.
The owner of an erotic massage parlor on Joppa Road faces charges for human trafficking and prostitution. Di Zhang, 42, of the 100 block of Edgerton Road in Towson, was charged on March 8, according to online court records. Zhang is free on $20,000 bond, according to Baltimore County court records. She faces up to a year in prison or a $500 fine for the prostitution charge, and 10-years in prison and a $5,000 fine for the human trafficking charge. Court documents detailing the events that led to the charges were sealed Thursday morning. Zhang, who owns Jade Heart Health Center in the 1400 block of Joppa Road, is slated to appear in Baltimore County District Court on July 29. The robbers attacked the man near the intersection of Feldbrook Road and Pleasant Plains Road.
A man was robbed and threatened with a gun and machete as he was returning to his Loch Raven area home early Monday morning. Around midnight, the man was exiting his vehicle near the intersection of Feldbrook and Pleasant Plains roads when he was approached by two robbers, according to a Baltimore County Police incident report. One robber approached him with a handgun, and the other walked up to him from behind and displayed a machete. The robbers ordered the man to give them everything he had. The man turned over a cellphone, keys, wallet, cash and credit cards before the robbers took off running. A search of the area was unsuccessful. When she refused, the robber began to attack her, dragged her off the porch, down the steps and onto the sidewalk. The woman screamed for help and neighbors came out. The robber ran off. Astro Court, unit block. Between 4 p.m. Jan. 10 and 5:40 p.m. Jan. 12. A televison was found damaged at a residence, which was ransacked. Loch Raven Boulevard, 6800 block. 3:51 a.m. Jan. 14. A burglar smashed a front door and window with a brick. Entry was not gained.

The robbery occurred late Tuesday night in a parking lot off Loch Raven Boulevard.
Three juveniles have been arrested and two will be charged as adults in connection with a Tuesday night robbery in the Loch Raven Village area. Joshua Castillo, 16, 1600 block of Cromwell Bridge Road and Dakota Fletcher, 17, 1600 block of Cromwell Bridge Road are charged as adults with armed robbery, second-degree assault and theft. An area legislator is planning to host a town hall meeting for residents of Loch Raven Monday night. Sen. Jim Brochin, whose 42 district includes most of the Loch Raven area, will host the meeting at Pleasant Plains Elementary School, 8300 Pleasant Plains Road, at 7 p.m. Oct. 1. Brochin will be joined by representatives from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Code Enforcement for a discussion of neighborhood issues.
