Overlea Linden Avenue, 6800 block. Betwen 12 p.m. Feb. 3 and 8 p.m. Feb. 11. Someone pried open the frame of a window located on the back door of a home in a break-in attempt but failed to get inside the home. Cedmont Emelia Avenue, 5700 block. On Feb. 11. Two juveniles were arrested and charged with first-degree burglary after they allegedly broke into a home through a basement window. Officers saw the two boys trying to leave the home and arrested them with the assistance of police dogs.

Raspe Avenue, 4500 block. Between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. Jan 21. Spray paint was used to scrawl a racial slur on the back of a home causing $300 in damage. Belair Road, 8100 block. Between 2 p.m. Jan. 15 and 8 a.m. Jan. 16. A padlock, 70 pounds of yellow chain link, 11 copper tractor radiators, 20 gaskets and a 2-inch irrigation pipe were stolen from storage trailers. The total loss value of the stolen items is $2,355. The burglary was the second at the same address in five days.

Police arrested multiple suspects they said broke into a Sprint store early Thursday morning.
Multiple people were arrested Thursday morning after police say they broke into a Sprint Store in the Fullerton area. No charges have been filed against the individuals arrested as of Thursday afternoon, police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton said. Police responded to the store, located in the 7600 block of Belair Road, shortly after 5 a.m. Jan. 10, Batton said. The ensuing investigation involved K9 units and helicopters and led to the closure of roads in the area. As a result suspects were taken into custody but Batton could not confirm the number of people arrested nor their identities, saying only that the investigation was ongoing. A man with injuries from gunshots walked into an area hospital this morning. Police are trying to determine where he sustained the injuries.
Police were searching the Overlea-Fullerton area for a crime scene Thursday morning after a man walked into an area hospital with gunshot wounds. The victim is listed in stable condition at Franklin Square Medical Center, according to police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton. Batton said that police were in the process of trying to determine "what happened and where it happened" and confirmed that police were searching in the Overlea-Fullerton area for a crime scene Thursday morning. An 18-year-old man stands accused of attempted first degree murder, first degree assault, among other charges.
Police have charged an 18-year-old man in the shooting of an off-duty police officer in Overlea. Essex resident Michael Jabateh, 18, was charged with attempted first degree murder after an incident in which police describe a man opening fire on a car driven by an off-duty police officer. The officer was trying to maneuver his personal car through a crowd of juveniles and young adults that blocked the roadway after leaving a party in 700 block of Dale Avenue. An off-duty police officer was shot in an Overlea area neighborhood in the early morning Dec. 9.
An off duty police officer who was shot in Overlea nearly two weeks ago was able to fire at least two rounds during the attack. A police department investigation found that two rounds were fired from weapon of the Baltimore County police officer shot when a gunman emerged from an unruly crowd near Dale Avenue and Danville Road on Dec. 9, according to an email from police spokeswoman Elise Armacost. "Investigators have not yet determined the context in which the weapon was fired," Armacost wrote, adding that police were able to confirm the officer had not been shot with his own weapon. An off-duty Baltimore County Police Department officer was shot twice in the Overlea area Sunday morning after a gunman emerged from a crowd. At 3:24 a.m. police found the officer, suffering from two gunshot wounds, at Dale Avenue and Danwood Road, according to a report from Baltimore County police. Police found out that a "large group of people" had been blocking the street, and that the off-duty officer had "stopped his vehicle and asked them to move so he could pass," the report states. "A male emerged from the crowd with a gun and fired several shots into the victim's car, striking him twice," it states. A Middle River man and a 17-year-old from Nottingham have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged drug-deal-turned-armed-robbery. Around 7:30 p.m Nov. 19, two people met with 27-year-old Francisco Daniel Lasanta and Caleb Joseph Auberg in order to buy some marijuana, according to Lt. Ron Brooks of the police department's White Marsh precinct. The victims got into a vehicle in the 500 block of Dale Avenue with Lasanta and Auberg, at which point they tried to rob the victims of the cash being used to transact the deal, Brooks said. Kolb Avenue, 4300 block. Between 8:45 and 9:01 p.m. Oct. 31. A pizza delivery driver was robbed at both gun and knifepoint as he made a delivery. The victim was approached by six men, two of whom were armed with a knife and black handgun, respectively. The assailants went through the victim's pockets and stole $200 in cash and a cell phone, then took two 16" pizzas and ran off. The four unarmed men ran toward Linden Avenue while the two armed men fled toward Baltimore City.

Hazelwood Avenue, 4900 block. Between 1 and 2:20 a.m. Oct. 8. A woman hit another woman inside Charlie Brown's bar. Both women were ejected from the bar and continued to fight outside. At that point, a man accompanying the victim told police that he was robbed of $120 by a man and assaulted by a beer bottle with a woman. Police have not been able to verify the report.
