More Human Remains Found Near Overlea High School

After finding remains belonging to an adult male earlier this week, police conducted an additional search of the area.

Police found more human remains Saturday near Overlea High School, where a body was found earlier this week. Skeletal remains were found in the woods near the school Monday afternoon, and analysis indicated that they belong to a white adult male, police said. Police are awaiting DNA results to identify the man. The Baltimore County Police Department Homicide Unit and approximately 40 volunteers conducted a search of the area Saturday when they found the additional human remains, according to a press release. The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit’s investigation is ongoing.

Police: Skeletal Remains Belong to Adult Male

A body was found in the woods near Overlea High School Monday afternoon.

Police have released new information regarding skeletal remains found in the woods near Overlea High School Monday afternoon. The body has been tentatively identified as that of an adult male, according to a news release sent by the police agency. "Police detectives are waiting for DNA confirmation of the man's identity. There are no signs of foul play," the release states. As previously reported by Patch, skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near Overlea High School around 1:26 p.m. Feb. 25. Ive seen homeless in Gunpowder close to the pumping station, off the main trail by the power lines.That small park by Parkville police station ,Forge rd park in Perry Hall,The park at Moyer and Taylor behind the base ball field in Parkville.
