Citypaper Names Parkville-area Businesses Best of Baltimore

Parkville is the home of Baltimore's best comic shop, doughnut and Indian food, according to the Citypaper.

Three local businesses were recently named among the Best in Baltimore by the Baltimore Citypaper. The most recent issue of the alternative weekly publication gave accolades to Parkville-area businesses for offering the best doughnuts, best Indian food, best "sexy workout" and being the best comic book shop for an expert. Here's who won, and what Citypaper had to say: Dining Goods and Services Nearby in Lauraville, Tooloulou won Best Po'Boy sandwich and just down Rossville Boulevard, Binkert's has the Best German Sausage. Do you agree these are some of the best businesses in their categories? Are you surprised to learn there are so many winners in the area? Tell us in the comments.

Also of note, Ryan's Relics won "Best used furniture", which is at his new location at 7900 Belair Road. I still prefer the original location at 8100 Belair Road where he sells the smaller vintage and secondhand items since I'm not in the market for furniture. www.RyansRelics.com   more ›
