Parkville's New Used Book Shop To Open Tuesday
The Parkville Bookworm will open at 8116A Harford Road on Tuesday morning; a grand opening event is planned for the coming weekend.
The newest business to come to Parkville's Harford Road corridor is one that readers have asked for in the past. The Parkville Bookworm, a used book store, will open at 8116A Harford Road (near the Post Office and VFW Hall) on Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. Owner Melissa Eisenmeier, 25, is a life-long Parkville resident and is passionate about her product. "I love books and I decided that I wanted to sell them, I love Parkville and I live in Parkville and I decided I wanted to put a bookstore near where I live," she said. The Parkville Bookworm will deal strictly in used books at this point, Eisenmeier said. She will be buying books both for cash and trade. The store will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and from 12-6 p.m. Sunday. …
