Volunteers Hang Wreaths In Parkville

A group of local business owners got together to bring some holiday spirit to Parkville's 'Main Street'.

If you've driven down Harford Road through Parkville's Main Street since Monday afternoon, you've probably seen the wreaths hanging from lampposts along the street. The display of holiday cheer is the brainchild of a group of Parkville-area business owners who volunteered their time to get the job done. Mary Beth Flowers, owner of Flowers by Flowers, first pitched the idea to decorate Harford Road with holiday wreaths on the Parkville Main Street Facebook page. Chris McDermott, owner of Signs 2 Day, and Bob McCarrell, of Got Tan, volunteered to help get the job done. "It was an idea I brought up to Parkville Main Street on their page.
