State To Deal With Erosion In Parkville Neighborhood

Following a meeting with the Double Rock Community Association, the Maryland State Highway Administration will put into place a plan to deal with erosion between the neighborhood and the Beltway.

The Maryland State Highway Administration is planning to undertake a $500,000 to $1 million project to fix a serious erosion issue in a Parkville neighborhood beginning in the summer of 2013. David Peake, the state agency's engineer for District 4—which includes Baltimore and Harford Counties—said that a team of engineers has evaluated the situation in the Double Rock Lane townhome community that backs up to the Baltimore Belway and decided to move forward with the project.
