Giant to Buy Parkville Fresh and Greens
Less than a year after Fresh & Greens took over the store in Parkville Shopping Center, it's being sold to Giant Food.
Giant Food is buying the former Superfresh location in Parkville from Fresh & Green's, less than a year after the latter took the store over Giant, the Baltimore area's largest grocer, announced the deal today with Mrs. Green's Management Corp. to buy the location at 7709 Harford Road in Parkville. Parkville store manager Denise Clark, who has worked at the store since it was a Superfresh, was excited to share the news on a Friday afternoon. "I’m excited that there’s still going to be a grocery store in the community and Giant Food certainly has a great reputation for customer service," Clark said.
