Parkville Shopping Center Renovation Under Way
Work began on restoring the 51-year-old center early last week.
If you stop by Parkville Shopping Center you'll probably notice that some of the retailers' signs have been replaced by banners, while the pillars that stood around the walkways have been removed leaving just bare support beams. Inside many of the shops, you'll find fliers like the one attached to this article—they were placed there by property management company Regency Centers and invite you to share your ideas for the renovation of the 51-year-old center on the web. The site explains that after upgrading the center merchants by bringing in Giant Foods, the company has decided to invest in the center by upgrading the facade, parking and signage.
