A dog is missing from the Halstead Road area and his owners need your help to get him back. Max, a 9-pound pup whose photo is attached to this article, was being walked in the Halstead Road area by a family friend when his leash was dropped and he ran off, according to a post on the Baltimore-area craigslist. At this time of his disappearance he was (and would likely still be) wearing a blue leash with a bag dispenser, the post says. The dog is microchipped and a $100 reward is offered for his safe return. Anyone with information should call Judy at 443-255-2256 or Ashley at 301-462-9299.
The 14-year-old dog went missing on Tuesday.
Parkville-Overlea Patch user Teri Freeze posted a message on our Facebook wall around 11 p.m. Tuesday night saying that her dog, Shadow, was missing from home. Getting lost animals back to their owners is something we take seriously here, and something that we've had some success with in the past. What do you say, will you help get Shadow home? The small 14-year-old black labrador retriever, who went missing near Brightview Nursing Home on Rossville Boulevard, is both hearing and vision imparied, Freeze explained in an e-mail. "She occasionally loses her balance when standing for long periods of time," too, Freeze said. "Any help in finding her would be sincerely apprecipated," Freeze wrote in the email.
