Hillary Clinton would be the worse candidate to put in as a candidate. Too much baggage in her past. There are a lot of issues Obama is dealing with now and after dealing with the IRS escapade he did fire an official. That was the right thing to do ! If you find out a person doesn't "fit" into a job...get rid of them. That's why Kerry had to step in for Hillary. If the Democrats don't change the way things are done in Washington the next president will be a Republican or an Independent.

These unfortunate things do happen. There have been police officers who were killed trying to give a person a chance to disarm. If they have a gun in their hand they are a danger to everyone around them.

Bryan, Understandably, there are procedures put in place but Tom quirk was made aware of the "potential " use of them. With the possibility of things going "very wrong" anything that aids the police department has my support.

If he filed as an independent his views might be questioned but few could question them using a "party" affiliation. I am a registered Republican but have independent views. Party affiliation doesn't dictate how I think. Some good friends of mine are Democrats and think like I do. I vote my conscience.. The problem this country has is that their party makes decisions that make no sense at all and they follow that decision like little lost sheep. I agree that this country has major problems but get to the heart of the problems and leave party affiliation out of it. A "house divided" is a formula for failure and we are on that track.

Maybe he can finally get this state back on track. Evidently, he feels there is a breakdown in the leadership. Maybe he should file as an independent than there wouldn't be any reason to slander either party. This may hurt the feelings of those who jump in with juvenile statements.

If they were "just" sitting and not used some people would ask "why". Good that a decision was made to use them.

The Democrats should clean house and get rid of the old Democratic machine. Hillary did a good job in traveling all over the world while accomplishing nothing. She'll run trying to rope people in thinking a woman would be better running this country. That may be so but she's not the one for the job. Obama got the job because he ran using the "change" tactic. He had no military experience and no experience in foreign affairs but he was a man with no baggage although the birth certificate thing is still debated to this day. By contrary, ( if Hillary ran ) any opponent would probably bring up Whitewater ( not a good thing for her ). As a person, I like Obama . I don't think he was prepared for the "reality" of Washington politics where your own party can turn on you, O'Malley has become unpopular by raising the costs of many things and asking for more. Are these costs necessary to keep the state running ?

Don't you think we have more trying things to deal with ? This will only cost the county money that they will need for other projects. Take that money that will be used for attorney fees and feed the hungry or give medical attention to a needy child. I am not into religion but get a life and support projects that really mean something.

Some people say we should have compassion for the people who prey on us, kill our loved ones. If that is how they feel move these people into their own home but put wire screens on their windows and steel doors on their houses. I don't want them finding their way to mine. Lving with these type of people will " finally" open their eyes.Thou shall not kill,,,,,sounds good but those people who kill don't agree with that. Looking through rose colored glasses gives you the illusion that everyone respects life. I guess I want to protect my family by getting rid of the people who want to hurt mine. Death penalty should be there for killers who "earn" it. Don't kill and they won't deal with it Very simple.
