ReplyMaybe if the county didn't waste money 'giving' away contracts to very lazy companies to do crap slurry seal on our roads we would have more money for real projects. Blame the state, the feds, whomever, but it is your county, and your money. Use is wisely, oh wait, the dems have no clue how to do that...

ReplyYEA! They tore down some buildings and built a parking lot on Joppa Road. A major road now has a huge parking lot. Shouldn't we demand buildings that line the street? Giant parking lots are not conducive to a walkable environment.

ReplyNo restaurant would choose BYOB over a full liquor license. If they could afford one on the 'market' they would. Regulation of liquor has been going on for a long time and it only brings BYOB establishments in line with full liquor service. If mom and pop can't afford this fee, I'm guessing there are other problems with their restaurant.

Can't be much worse than the hundreds of shards of glass found in all the city parks. Does Hoboken, NJ even bother to clean up the fine city parks ever??
