ReplyDoesn't surprise me. What an uninvolved person. Don't make comments when you did what you did when you owned a restaurant. Shame on you.

ReplyYou go Bob Roll. We don'r need any more fancy restaurants in this area, we already have more than enough. This was a community restaurant that most people in this area loved. Always had a good time there. Yuppies, yuppies, yuppies!

ReplyThe Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Restaurant was located in Rodgers Forge. It was Bill Pellington's before The Charred Rid. The Original sign is still on the wall in the bar area. The Golden Arm was located at the York Road Plaza few blocks north of Northern Parkway.

ReplyWe are shocked and saddened to hear of the closing of The RIb. Our family has been going there for years. It was a place where everyone knew your name. The friendly staff, especially Lahan, Nelson, Colleen, and all of the others will be truly missed. We have so many wonderful memories at The RIb. Life just won't be the same. We loved the food too. Best ribs in the area. (RIP Robert, we have missed your electric smile since your passing. The food was never the same without you.) Good luck Tony, so sorry to hear this sad news.:(

On the article Sonic, America's Drive-In Coming to Timonium?

ReplyTimes change and York Road is no different. The property was a fast food restaurant twice in the past, Roy Rogers & a Boston Market. They went out because of the economy & bankruptcy. It is an eyesore and has been for a long time. I'm more concerned about the crime that the light rail brings to the community and all of the robberies. A Sonic would be fine with me. There"s a Walgreens & a CVS on the opposite corner, how stupid is that? Burger King is built on a small parcel of land and so is Walgreen's. There are houses behind each of these businesses. Work with Sonic to put up noise barriers. Progress sometimes doesn't please the masses
