Kristen Hoover, Neighbor

I was born and raised on the back roads of Hereford. Although I try to be unbiased, I can't help but hold a small grudge against anyone who went to Dulaney. After graduation I moved to "the big city" (as my father says) of Cockeysville.

Once I moved there, I was on staff at a local church working with the youth group. After three years, I packed up my belongings and headed to Shanghai, China, where I worked with a couple of non-profits and churches that served expat youth, the homeless community and various orphanages.

It wasn't until my return to Baltimore in 2009 that I realized how much I had missed this community and had a newfound love for everything Baltimore. 

I now live in Carney, work in the heart of Towson and can be seen anywhere between Hereford and White Marsh; a frequent flyer on 83 and 695E.

My interests include everything from local music to real estate sprinkled with baking and DIY projects. I would love to see more people actively serving and engaging within the community. Let's go back to the day of block parties and multi-family yard sales so that we can live more interactively and less individually.
