I loved growing up we had trees to climb went swimming in the local water holes, had fun with mulberry fights and came home all stained and got a spanking!!!. We loved going to the water hole to catch yabbies and take them home for mum to cook up. We always went fishing and exploring in the bush and made up games . Played cowboys n indian's and just had so much fun and having mud fights and water fights. We used old things for toys with imagination as we were a poor family. We always had a roast sunday dinner with all the family no excuses everyone had to be there . I remember playing marbles hide go seek and so much fun times. My sons have seen this too which I ensured they got to play outside doing what I used to do!! they always took the pets swimming at the dams n lakes etc and explored the bush for them selves. The technology of today has taken over these fun times with nature and the bush and fresh air being outside and playing games. Maybe thats why I am a outdoor person today don't like being inside much at all and don't watch much tv I would rather be watching the birds and wildlife and seeing the beauty of the sun coming up and the sun going down. All these beautiful things that nature has to offer and all for free. My boys have the same outlook as myself which is a blessing, being able to see the beauty life has to offer.
