Parkville Crime: Burglar Steals Single Pack of Candy

The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

Wilson Avenue, 7700 block. Between 10 p.m. June 12 and 6 a.m. June 13. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parted in the driveway of a home. The victim found contents of the wallet scattered in neighbors yards but never recovered an ID card, social security card and bank cards.

Willoughby Road, 2800 block. Between 12 and 2 p.m. June 12. Someone broke into the basement of a home by breaking glass on a door. Nothing was stolen.

Onyx Road, 2900 block. Between 6 p.m. June 11 and 6 a.m. June 12. A DeWalt impact driver and an impact driver socket set were stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home.

Richmond Avenue, 8600 block. Between 12 p.m. May 29 and 11:16 a.m. June 12. Someone broke into a vacant home destroying a lock and door frame in the process.

Darlington Drive, 7100 block. At 2:18 p.m. June 10. A man was carjacked by two men while he sat in his vehicle. The carjackers approached the car, asked the driver if he had a light and grabbed to open the car door. The driver got out of the car to confront the two men and was physically assaulted. The two men then got inside the vehicle and drove off towards Oakleigh Road.

Luiss Deane Drive, 2600 block. Between 10:30 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. June 7. Mens and ladies jewelry and cash were stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by forcing open a living room window.

Harford Road, 8000 block. Between 9:30 p.m. June 3 and 2 a.m. June 4. Two laptop computers and a tablet computer were stolen from Advanced Care Physical Therapy. Burglars got inside through an unlocked door.

Hiss Avenue, 3300 block. Between 10 p.m. June 1 an 8 a.m. June 2. A deer statue, a cat statue, two rabbit statues, a sailor statue, a water fountain and a table were stolen from the front yard of a home.

Cleanleigh Drive, 2500 block. At 12:58 a.m. June 1. A single 2-pack of Reese's peanut butter cups was stolen from a Sunoco gas station. A burglar broke in through a rear bay window, unsuccessfully tried to break into an ATM at the business then stole the candy and left.
