A five-vehicle crash has shut down the inner loop of I-695 near the Belair Road exit, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation website.
All three lanes and both shoulders were closed by the crash, which was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. As of noon, traffic cameras showed multiple emergency vehicles on the roadway, and traffic moving slowly along the outer loop.
No details of the cause of the crash or injuries have yet been released.
