Man Charged in Weekend Shooting in Parkville

Charles Towns Jr. has been charged in connection with the Darlington Road shooting that injured one man.

A man has been charged in connection with a weekend shooting in Parkville, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Charles Towns Jr., 27, of no fixed address, has been charged with the nonfatal shooting that happened in the 7100 block of Darlington Road Oct. 5, according to a statement published Wednesday by spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton via Twitter.

Police received a call about the shooting at 7:25 p.m. Saturday, according to Officer Shawn Vinson. The victim, who was not identified by authorities, is expected to survive injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

Batton said the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
